Four Unique Master Keys For The Same System!

Question: I have a church building to re-key. It's shared by four Bishops. They each want a master key for the building and they want it to fit their office but not the other Bishops. Is this possible?

Answer: This Is Really Quite Simple, in a nut shell all you need to do is create a standard 5 pin system and re-key the building to it. Then when you get to the four unique Bishops offices cut them each a master key on a 6 pin key and use the 6th tip cut to separate the four offices.

Let me explain. If the master key is 63405 you could cut four masters like this...

Bishop #1 Master Key 634050
Bishop #2 Master Key 634052
Bishop #3 Master Key 634054
Bishop #4 Master Key 634056

Now key Bishop #1's office to a 634050 and that keeps the other three masters out. Do the same for the other three.

Things To Watch Out For: The only thing you really need to look out for here is that a 6 pin master will fit into all the 5 pin cylinders you're keying.
